The 930 is first version of the 911 Turbo, introduced in 1976, it progressed slowly to bring more and more performance and refinement. Ending in 1989, the turbo would finally receive the G50/50 transmission with hydraulic clutch and 5 gears. For model year 89 only 640 cars were produced for the North American market, the 282hp flat 6 turbo engine would have one last kick at the can before new development had now shifted to the 964 generation. The example we have here is rare and special to say the least. Built for the original owner, the car was spec’d in very rare Slate Grey Metallic over Natural Grey full Leather interior. Options included Sport Seats, Heated Seats, 40% locking diff, Blaupunkt Reno 46 Radio and Electric Sliding Sunroof. Dealer installed aftermarket equipment includes XA8 side box rockers, XB7 Side Air Intakes and Platinum painted Fuchs centers. The look is very traditional yet fresh at the same time. Traded into Azores Fine Cars back in 93 the car was sold to its second owner and sent in for a full repaint to clean up stone chips and lot of natural blemishes. We posses pics of the car right after the respray. The second owner would shift servicing it to Heimrath until selling it to an airline pilot in Burlington back in 1999. It was from there the car would settle into a 20 year ownership, serviced at Mantis, Auguste and finally Porsche Center Oakville in 2018. Pedigree is strong with this car as it possesses service records in the book from its original delivery all the way to 2018. The car comes complete with books, 2 keys and all these records, it also benefits from matching numbers drivetrain. What more can you ask for?
